As a new mom, I am very particular when it comes to my newborn's health and comfort. After searching Amazon and reading through the VERY mixed reviews of other infant/toddler first aid kits, I decided on the Doc-To-Go Infant and Toddler First Aid Kit.
I was skeptical about purchasing a product that does not have any reviews but ultimately was comforted by the fact that it was CREATED by a Pediatrician.
After receiving the product, I must say...this is a product that is excellent for new parents. I do not have the same problems that other products' reviews have i.e. "scissors not sharp, thermometer takes forever to read, aspirator doesn't work well, nail clippers don't clip."
I ended up purchasing two more kits, one for my neighbor's shower and one for my parent's place.
Pro: High quality. Zip up bag keeps everything together. Everything works like it's supposed to, wooden brush is super soft. Extra tools like the Penlight and tape measure were nice to have when keeping track of Christina(my daughter) head circumference and length measurements
Cons: None.
I though this was the best buy until I tried using the nail clipper and I did not even get to cut my daughter's nails because it broke when I tried to open it. The nail clipper is of very poor quality, same with the thermometer. This things are very important in the kit!
